Azalea?
The flower’s a little early because I have family obligations and won’t be back until Sunday afternoon. I’m scheduling a couple of youtubes that I like for this afternoon and tomorrow morning. I hope to do some posting over at Left in Alabama on Sunday evening.

Another shot from my hybrid rose collection. I am almost to the end of the photos from my outings last spring, so It’s a good thing it’s time for the flowers to start blooming again.

Wildflowers don’t get enough attention. I am not sure what type these are. I spied them growing in a vacant lot last spring, and thought the deserved having their photo taken.

This story reminded me that flower blogging is fun, and that I have some flower photos I never got around to using back when I was doing a weekly flower blog. These are some type of hybrid rose. I’m fortunate enough to live near a university that has a public rose garden, and I took these last April when they were all in bloom.
This is a rose of some sort. I am not sure what sort, because I didn’t write the name down when I took the pic a back in April.

This pink rose is the last of a series of photos Bamablue sent me a few weeks ago. I am fortunate enough to live near a public rose garden, and they are in full bloom right now, so you’ll be seeing lots of roses on Sundays here this summer.

As beautiful as Bama’s Coneflower with Butterfly pic is, one flower just isn’t enough for today. This is a shot I took of some daylilies a couple of weeks ago. I got a lot of good shots that day, but this is one of the two or three I like best.
Well, Spring has sprung, so I think this is a good week to share another of Bamablue’s photos. The butterfly in this excellent shot is perched upon a coneflower. I wish I’d taken this photo myself!

Bamablue of Left in Alabama was kind enough to share a few flower pics with us. They’re such nice images, it takes a lot of restraint not to post them all at once. These Bleeding Hearts look more like a painting than a photo, at least to my amateur eye.

I’m not an expert on plants, but I think this is a hibiscus. Critters get a lot of love from the blogosphere, and that’s a good thing. But plants need love, too. So I’ll try to stock up on flower photos over the next few months and make this a regular feature.
